Ultimate Latin Dance Championship 2026 Results

The Ultimate Latin Dance Championship 2026 brought two days of competition to Las Vegas on July 1 and 2 as part of Las Vegas Super Congress 2026. Held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, ULDC included showcase divisions and Just Dance heat divisions across salsa, bachata, cha cha, Latin hustle, merengue, open, youth, pro-am, amateur, professional rising star and team categories.

The final placements had a strong United States core, with competitors and teams from at least nine countries represented across the final tables. Mexico, Colombia and El Salvador were especially visible among the international entries, and Canada, Venezuela, Bolivia, Italy and Argentina also appeared in the finals.

The competition sat inside a larger Las Vegas Super Congress week that included workshops for adults and kids, afternoon and evening shows, Salsanamá, pool parties, concerts, and late-night social dancing in salsa, bachata and hustle rooms.

The judging panel included Kelly Lannan, Tito Ortos, Tamara Livolsi, Jorge and Indira, Sergio Jasso, Osmar Perrones, Celso Orozco, Desireé Cruz, Luis García, Andrea Cobos, Alex Salsita, Javier Campines and Martin González.

Open divisions produced the championship’s biggest scores

The highest showcase score in the final results went to Jorge Velasco and Dulce Hernández of Mexico, who won Open Bachata Non-Cabaret Showcase with an 86.61. They also won Open Salsa Non-Cabaret Showcase with an 86.03, making them one of the standout partnerships of the championship.

In the Open solo divisions, Mateo Popayan of Colombia won Open Men Salsa Solo Showcase with an 86.30, ahead of Erick Morales of Mexico at 85.07. Isabella Rivas, representing the United States and Colombia, won Open Ladies Salsa Solo Showcase with an 84.99 and finished second in Open Ladies Bachata Solo Showcase with an 85.12.

Close finals added drama across solos and teams

One of the closest Open finals came in Open Ladies Bachata Solo Showcase, where Yolieth Barragan won with an 85.17 and Isabella Rivas finished just 0.05 points behind. Professional Rising Star Men Salsa Solo Showcase was also tight, with Ronin Morales taking first at 81.19 and Justin Barragan second at 81.08.

The youth and team divisions were busy throughout the final tables. Ashley Ochoa won Amateur Ladies Salsa Solo Showcase 17 and Under with an 85.45, one of the strongest scores of the event. Ladies Fuegos, Latin Flair Ladies, SOHO Studios DTLA, Salsa y Mambo Dance Company, N’Clave, Inessence, Latin Dance Utah, MxT Movement and Movement Dance Project all appeared in notable team results.

Just Dance heats added a separate competitive track

The Just Dance heat results used a separate scoring scale from the showcase divisions. Max Solorzano and Kimberly John posted the top heat score with a 7.88 in Pro-Am Ladies Just Bachata Intermediate, and they also led Pro-Am Ladies Just Salsa Intermediate with a 7.76. Josh Hernandez and Alexa Vivanco, Manuel Olaya and Jody Herkloz, Ryan Smith and Donna Nakawaki, and Serena Cuevas with multiple partners were among the most active heat finalists.

ULDC 2026 gave Las Vegas Super Congress a dense competitive start to the week, with Open champions, youth soloists, pro-am partnerships, amateur couples, professional rising star finalists and team divisions all sharing the same championship stage before the main congress weekend continued.
